About Ria Cody de Neeve

I have a deep and abiding belief in the capability of Evolutionary Astrology to support people in the messy and beautiful work of becoming more fully themselves, and to heal and transform in their lives.

I came to this understanding, and then, a determination during the pandemic. As things  slowed down and quieted, I like many people had an opportunity to look deep inside my own heart. At this time of quiet self-reflection I refamiliarized myself with Steven Forrest’s work and became determined to study this branch of astrology.

I gained expertise through two years’ study at the Forrest Center for Evolutionary Astrology (FCEA). I have since continued private studies with Ryan Evans, certified master-level astrologer with FCEA, to whom I am so grateful. I am dedicated to my learning through continuous experience and book learning, as well as on going classes.

My studies in astrology are informed by a life-long commitment to healing. I've had the incredible experience of working with a handful of exceptional healers, mentors, therapist and counselors for over 15 years. I will forever be grateful to these people.

My experience as a mentor to people younger than me has taught me the value of cross-generational friendships. Through these long-term relationships I have understood better the developmental phases we experience and share from ages 12 to 35. The lens of astrological turning points (such as Saturn Return) has given me a deeper understanding of these phases and I truly enjoy bringing that understanding to clients as they move through th phases of their lives.

Outside of my astrological study and practice, I have trained for many years  in various forms of art as a craftswoman and artist.  From these I have  learned about, time, patience, and skill, as well as the gift of seeing life in images and metaphors. I add to the slow, arduous, and wondrous journey of learning in Tai Chi. This somatic art form and martial art has taught me many lessons, including, strength and gentleness, balance, persistence, and transformation.

As a naturalist, I spend as much time outside as I can, I grow flowers. I am attuned to nature, and the turning of the seasons, which in my opinion and experience is a powerful asset in understanding and experiencing astrology.

I am lovingly indebted to my teachers, friends, partner and family who support me in bringing this work to the world.

An insight into me for astrology nerds; I am a Sagittarius sun, a Taurus moon, and a Virgo ascendant.
